Teacher Draft 2020

Chelsea and Tom,

After writing this post, I went back to find the results of our 2020 Teacher Draft.

For some reason I can’t recall, I wrote this little blurb after drafting that night. Probably one of the many times Tom tried to strongarm me into writing.

Anyone in education has thought about their perfect school. What would it be like to work for the perfect boss? What if every teacher had the same vision? What could you accomplish with a team of change-makers? Or at least people that didn’t piss you off. 

It’s like living in a fantasy. Like a fantasy draft. Like a fantasy teacher draft. 

I decided to play this little fantasy out. And the only two people on Earth that might indulge my desire to marry the nerdy teacher side of me with the sports fanatic side are Tom Brown and Chelsea Roberts. 

I had forgotten that we also took some time to name our schools.
